Steve Tait is an avid mule deer enthusiast and hunter. He spends many weeks each fall
pursuing these beautiful and elusive animals, plus many nights throughout the year dreaming
of a real monster---the buck of a lifetime.
For more than half his life he has photographed wildlife as subject matter
for his artwork. He prides himself on making accurate representations of
the wildlife he depicts.
The bronze sculpture to the right is an artistic representation of a large non-typical mule
deer buck entitled, "Descending Basalt Mountain". This is one of Steve's finest pieces of
work and it's a limited edition, with only 31 pieces available. It is 16 inches tall, 19
inches wide and would be a wonderful addition to any art collection.
