I got up in the morning and drove 5 miles to the small 3 section ranch that I had a tag for and caught this buck at a dirt tank. He ran off and stopped about 250 yards out to see what I was and if I was a threat. I bailed out of the truck and dropped my Harris bi-pod, as soon as I found him in the scope he decided to bail and broke out in a dead run. I lead him and touched one round off from my little Remington 22-250 and the 55 grain softnose dropped him Graveyard dead!!! My first big game kill with my new coyote rifle.
He's not a monster, but nice deep hooks & 14-1/4 inch horns. He will make a nice European mount."
