Jesse writes, "My Buddy Jake was lucky enough to draw a Spring Utah Bear tag. After using twinkies, ding dongs, and other sweets we finally we able to see this brute come into the bait site during day light hours. We had a trail camera at the bait site to see the size and times the bears were visiting the site, and this is the last picture he has of the bear before he stood up and Jake shot him in the heart at 15 yards. The bear spun around and ran 20 yards and pilled up. He then let out a roar that filled the canyon. Estimated weight of the bear was 470 -500 pounds, and I believe it as it took 3 of us to role him up the hill 10 feet to take pictures. What a great experience and not a bad bear either. Green score is 23 8/16" which is the potential new world record for archery bear."
