Mark Lowe, aka Lowedog here at MonsterMuleys.com, harvested this beautiful bear on Aug. 4th in Chelan county, Washington.
Mark writes, "I went to checkout an area for the up coming deer and elk seasons and took my rifle since bear season opens on August 1st here. The bear was feeding in a berry patch a couple hundred yards away and was moving in and out of the brush. I had to wait and watch him for about fifteen minutes before taking the shot. He had climbed up in a tree to get at the berries in the top and was about eight feet off the ground when I shot."
The bear measured 7'3" from the tip of his nose to the bottom of his back feet.
