Jason Reinhardt writes, "I had been playing cat and mouse with this big bruin on my bait all spring. One night as I was kneeling down to get set in my blind, having already checked out the can and finding that nothing was there, I looked up only to see the bear looking right at me. He spooked off. A week later I was in my blind at 4 pm, and at 8 pm, he snuck up on me in the blind. He chopped his teeth, and ran off. This was a distance of less than 10 feet! Ok, I got my shorts cleaned out, and figured out this bear was a wise one and decided the only way I was going to get him was to sneak into the blind AFTER the bear came in and checked the site out and relaxed a bit. last week, I did just that. I snuck in the blind at 8 pm, and the bear was at the bait. Well, as you can see, he should have been paying a little bit better attention! Nearly 7 feet, with a 20 inch punkin, and coal black with no rubs. AWESOME!!! My hunting buddy, Chad Staley is playing with a book bear on his bait, with two days left in the season, hopefully we'll be sharing more pics soon!"
