Myself and three friends of mine from Texas traveled to Alaska and hunted a remote area south of Fairbanks (near the Wood River). Nolan Huckabay harvested the first bull on day two of our hunt. He is a very nice 48” (50” minimum area, but the bull has four browtines making him legal) bull and happens to be the first big game animal that Nolan has harvested. Shane Biggers harvested bull number two on day three. Shane’s bull is 63” and very nice. A real monster. Richard Biggers harvested bull number three on day four. Richard’s bull is an impressive 58” and a great trophy. I was also fortunate enough to harvest my bull on day four. My bull is 56” and I couldn’t be happier. It was an incredible trip! Days five, six, and seven were spent packing meat, horns and capes to the airstrip and resting extremely tired muscles! An amazing adventure and some fantastic trophies!"
