Brian Evans writes, "I watched one of these bulls drop earlier in the day. Later that evening I ran back up the mountain and started backtracking. I picked up the one that had shed, then stumbled upon the shedding graveyard. The bulls apparently sought shelter in a patch of timber during a snow storm that hit three days prior and the bigger bulls all dropped within yards of each other. It was one of the neatest experiences I’ve ever had.

I never did find the bigger bull that was still packing at the time. He moved off to some neighboring property. I had seen him during hunting season as well and would have like to find his sheds, but it wasn’t too be. Maybe next year."
