Shane Todd writes, "After six yeas of archery hunting, I was finally able to take a mule deer buck. We had been on this buck all day, and one of my hunting partners had stalked him for about 5 hours. When he got to 44 yards, the buck decided he had had enough and walked off over a hill. I was waiting for him, and shot at him, but missed. I paralleled the buck from a bottom as he walked along the hill side. 300 yards from where I had shot and missed, he bedded back down. I was able to make a 200 yard stalk and get within 36 yards.
