Ben Cook writes, "I was hunting in New Mexico with JFWRC doing a combo hunt on the Cross Diamond Ranch. This was a 5 day combo hunt the first of November. I passed on some smaller 4x4's and stalked up to within 50 yards of a very nice 3x4 before deciding to pass. I had gone after this buck twice before and he completely disappeared. The 4th morning it was foggy, then all of the sudden the fog lifted and this huge buck was standing 350 yards away. He had no idea we were there and walked in behind some cypress feeding. We booked it across the meadow and snuck to within 125 yards before I dropped the hammer. The first shot hit a limb, but the second shot sent him reeling."
