Doug Pope writes, "I killed this 31-inch 4x5 buck in Nevada with my 50 caliber black power rifle. I had spotted him over a mile away across a large basin. It took me over 2 hours to move to a position that I could get a shot. I had winged him and he went to the bottom (naturally). I followed his blood trail and got into position and took another shot and he dropped."
