Big ole' velvet-covered monster archery bucks don't usually get much better than this!! For years, Tug Birk and his buddies have been hunting elk in Colorado and seeing big bucks. In the past, they have always hunted the 2nd or 3rd rifle season. But this year, Tug had an archery tag and when he spotted this bad boy bedded in the open grass, his heart began pounding.
Tug was able to sneak to within 40 yards of the buck and a well-placed arrow did the job.
The velvet monster gross scores 208!!
