Ben writes, "At the urging of my nephew who is a 1st sergeant in the Marines now deployed in Iraq for the 3rd stint, I am sending this picture of two good muley's I took on public land.

The buck on the left was taken in 1975 in Colorado near the Wyoming border after a snow storm. We had the wind with us and got so close I could have touched him. I shot him with my .300 Win Mag at about 30 yards.

The buck on the right was an old and smart buck which had made a living near Bridgeport, Ca. I took him with the same .300 Win Mag at about 200 yards, running. It took 4 of us until 10:00 PM to get him out in quarters."
