Trevor Mortenson writes, "I had watched this buck for two years. My cousin and I had named him "Maximus" and I was happy to see that he had survived the hunts for the third year. Three weeks before he shed I made the long hike to his secluded hideout almost daily and observed him from a distance. On Feb. 24th, I made the hike to his hide out to find my reward. This buck has many good qualities, including deep forks, good mass and unique double eye guards on both sides. He scores 217 7/8 nontypical, his typical frame scores 210 7/8, inside spread of 25 7/8, and an outside spread of 32 9/16. He was found in Northern Utah."
